The RUAA presents the Rutgers Excellence in Alumni Leadership Awards annually to recognize alumni and other members of the university community who devote their time and talents to further the mission of the alumni association and of Rutgers. Dr. Stanley Messer has been elected President of the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration. This is an international association fostering dialogue among academicians and practitioners holding different theoretical/therapeutic orientations. He started serving on the Executive Committee in January, 2016 and will take office as President in January, 2018.
Dr. William Pfohl (PsyD, School, 1979), is Program Chair for Division 52 (International Psychology) for APA in Toronto in August. He was recently awarded the prestigious Distinguished Services Award in Sao Paulo, Brazil, by the International School Psychology Association (ISPA) in which he has been a great contributor for many years. read more
